Breakthrough Session
Mental and Emotional Release® is a technique used to release unresolved negative emotions and the limiting beliefs that hold us back from what we desire. We release the primary negative emotions that everyone experiences: anger, sadness, fear, hurt, and guilt. This process also involves values elicitation, goal setting and coming up with a plan for you to initiate action and focus once the session is complete.

My Journey to Wholeness
I have always felt a calling to help other people and my life journey has been a beautiful unfolding of this deeper knowing.
While finishing a Business degree at the University of Montana, I was recruited to become a wildland firefighter in the fire hub of Missoula, MT. I fought my first season as a wildland firefighter in between semesters and I absolutely fell in love. My heart was on fire. I loved my job, the people, being in nature, and being of service to the public. Once I graduated I signed on full time and that is where my first career began.
During my 11 years actively fighting fire I experienced several injuries which led to multiple surgeries. While facing my physical challenges, I was forced to process my emotions, I questioned my mental state and I eventually broke spiritually. The combination of long fire seasons, challenges to stay physically fit enough to do my job well and my interactions with workman’s compensation, eventually led to my departure.
My goal has always been to return to the group of individuals I feel most connected to. In an attempt to reinvent myself I chose to pursue a career in aviation as a pilot with the long term goal of returning to the wildland fire community to assist in aerial operations. Interestingly enough, this career has also challenged me in all aspects of my life. As I continued to peel back the layers, it dawned on me there were areas of my life I was still struggling with which were rooted in my past. I decided to find a way to unpack this concept.
I was connected with a women in Israel who I worked with for 6 months utilizing NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) techniques. I had experienced healing on a level I never dreamed possible and it became clear this was my path in helping others.
Serendipitously, I was guided to an NLP training which was very similar to the work I had just experienced for 6 months. Since then I have been certified as a Master Practitioner of NLP, MER (Mental and Emotional Release®) and Hypnosis under The Association for Integrative Psychology.

My Own Experience
I have gone to many lengths to heal some long standing trauma with a specific family member. Nothing else has actually brought me to the root of why I still felt a lot of negative emotion about this person and the situation that surrounds it. This was a very emotionally charged topic and part of my life. The MER Breakthrough Session was able to gently navigate me to a safe place where I could see everything in a new light. My practitioner was able to creatively tell me things I needed to hear to move me to a new perspective and I always felt safe and receptive to the techniques. The integration after the session was just as important and helped me reach a deeper level of healing. I am forever grateful for finding this work, not only for my own healing but as a very effective technique in helping others heal as well.

How much does it cost?
The cost varies due to every client being different and the level of support needed for each client.
What if I don’t have time?
The MER (Mental and Emotional Release®) Breakthrough Session is fast, only two, four-hour sessions, and the root cause of your insecurity will be gone. The support, action, and focus does take time and is required to solidify the changes made in the Breakthrough Session. If you are looking for a quick fix type program then this isn't right for you. If you want to release the root cause of your insecurity and make lifelong changes then the program is a good fit.
I have tried everything. How will I know if this works?
MER (Mental and Emotional Release®) is a clinically studied technique and has shown profound results on many mental and emotional disturbances. When a root cause is released fully and completely there have been no reports of relapse.
How does a firefighter know about Mental Health?
For many years I did my own research, reading and studying on my own in between fire season and learning how to fly airplanes! I took courses on HRV (Heart Rate Variability) and completed my 200 Hour Yoga Certification. Once I decided to go all in on Alternative Mental Health I become a Master Practitioner of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), MER (Mental and Emotional Release®) and Hypnosis under The Association for Integrative Psychology. I combine all of these modalities with my 11 years of experience on the line to give you the most powerful transformation imaginable.
Two four-hour sessions sound crazy!
The MER Breakthrough Session is longer than traditional therapy. But this allows me to go deeper into your personal history than you have ever thought possible. If you cut the roots of the weeds in your garden they never come back but it takes some digging and hard work. Clients find 99-100% relief from their root cause problem after the Breakthrough Session, it is that powerful and thorough. We can always do four two-hour sessions to break it up more.
What is alternative therapy?
If you have back pain, you have two options. You could go to a medical doctor and get pain meds that mask the symptoms and don't actually solve the problem. Or you could go to a chiropractor, eat a low inflammation diet, get on some supplements, and deal with the emotional issues causing back pain. Alternative and complementary health care is about addressing the whole system, mind, body, and spirit. The question is, do you want to solve the problem or just bury it deeper for later?
